How the PC Insiders Subscription is Helping Make Motherhood Easier

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of the PC Insiders subscription service. All opinions are 100% mine.

Motherhood is hard. There I said it. Even though it is crazy hard and I always feel like I could be doing things better, I know that my PC Insiders subscription is helping me out. With the winter weather fully raging now and the kids getting a little extra rambunctious together, it really is the little victories here and there that make all of the difference. I’ll just be over here whispering “I’m nailing this motherhood thing” until it starts feeling true, mmmkay?

If you’ve been here for a while you already know that I love my PC Insiders subscription but I am here to let you know how I am actually using the subscription day-to-day to make this motherhood journey a little bit easier. We deserve a break, mamas.

Accelerating Our PC Optimum points Collection With a PC Insiders Subscription

My husband and I are both PC Financial Mastercard® cardholders so we make sure we are swiping to earn PC Optimum points often. I usually redeem my points every few months and my points balance has really grown now that I have added the PC Insiders subscription benefits to our account.

Get Those Points on the Baby Diapers and Formula

When the kids were babies I remember always complaining about the cost of diapers and formula. You too? I know I am not the only one who did because this was a big topic in our mommy groups.

I absolutely love the fact that you get 20% back on any diaper and formula purchase at Loblaw banner stores, yes any! We are still getting the overnight diapers over here and I actually gasped when I saw we got $6 worth of PC Optimum points back from just one box of diapers. Don’t forget the PC Organics baby food also lands you a cool 20% back in PC Optimum points.

Take the Shortcut with PC Organics and PC Express

I have learned over the years that most of the time that my kids are acting up it’s actually because they want my attention. Shocking right? As if that constant “mom, mama, mommy” was not enough to tip me off.

How the PC Insiders Subscription is Helping Make Motherhood Easier

I know that just the mention of a little baking gets my little ones in a happy mood so I make sure I stock up on their fave baking mixes. They are so easy to make and I love that I collect PC Optimum points on my groceries. I even splurge on the organic berries for our scones since I get 20% on all PC Organics products. It’s (literally) the berry on the  scone.

How the PC Insiders Subscription is Helping Make Motherhood Easier

And since I know my kids don’t want to be spending what time they do have with me walking up and down the aisles of our grocery store I order ahead using PC Express. Who am I kidding, I order my groceries through PC Express because braving the grocery store with four kids is hard on this mama and doing it from the comfort of home lets me do it with a hot coffee and a list, including some of their faves to help me win hashtag Mom of the Year. Plus you guessed it, free grocery pickup for the win.

Update Your Wardrobe with Joe Fresh

Six months ago, after trying on countless stained and ripped articles of clothing (some even maternity wear from 2007), I made a promise to myself to take care of myself and to finally update my wardrobe. Like why were the kids always walking around looking fresh and stylish but I have to wait until they need absolutely nothing until I splurge on myself? No thanks.

How the PC Insiders Subscription is Helping Make Motherhood Easier

It was during this same time I discovered that Joe Fresh® has an absolutely ah-mazing plus size line AND the prices were so good even I had no mom guilt adding them to my cart. Mamas do yourself a favour and buy yourself that shirt, pants, jacket or pair of yoga pants you want, not need. Deal with your wants so that you have no needs.

You also get 20% back in PC Optimum points on your Joe Fresh purchases, with free shipping on any order at joefresh.com. Use those points to spoil the kids 😉

I didn’t realise that PC Insiders also had a price, so I’ll definitely be avoiding it as I seldom use any of the afore mentioned, apart from Shoppers and it’s not much that I spend there either.

I’m very curious about the produce… when I did the grocery pickup thing at a store in MB the lettuce was not the freshest, the bananas were very ripe, etc.

  11. March 1, 2019 / 11:46 am

Honestly, I would have complained. Was there a place for you to leave a note about your order when you placed? Maybe mention you wanted produce that was not yet ready so it would last longer

I hadn’t thought about joining but now that I know you can get 20% off the PC Organics that sounds like it would be worth it for me since I buy a lot of their organic produce.
