Playmobil Magic Set. Crystal Palace, Winter Phoenix & Sleigh with Royal Couple Review

Make way for a new line from Playmobil, MAGIC. It is the perfect compliment to our Canadian winters and the kids were ecstatic to get their hands on the three sets we got: the Crystal Palace, Sleigh with Royal Couple and Winter Phoenix.

Sleigh With Royal Couple

This Playmobil Magic Sleigh With Royal Couple is one of the smaller sets within this lineup. Complimenting the larger Crystal Palace set perfectly, this set comes with a horse-drawn sleigh, royal couple and all the fixings for a picnic, including the blanket. You can purchase it here and it retails for $22.99 CAD.

Winter Phoenix

I knew that my son would be over the moon with the Winter Phoenix set because he loves to pretend play and fly his toys in the air. It comes with the Winter Phoenix, figure, flowers and decorative stones to easily decorate the phoenix. One of my fave additions though is the gorgeous treasure chest to house all the jewels. You can purchase this set here and it retails for $24.99 CAD.

Crystal Palace

At almost 4 and 6 respectively, the kids are finally old enough to actually help with the building of the big sets like the Crystal Palace. Putting it together. the process reminded me a lot of the BERK playset we love so much.

Playmobil has really focused on the little details in this set. Easy to see are the many floors, rooms and areas of play so that more than one child can easily play together. Children can easily flow from the royal throne room, bedroom and many balconies to bring the magic to life. I love that one of the three staircases can easily be hidden and provides an extra level of fun.

I particularly like how they can really bring their imagination to life thanks to the dozens of little accessories. There is even a clothing rack for the princess to hang her dresses. As if that wasn’t amazing in itself one of the queens dresses changes patterns when it gets cold.

I have a little girl that is still really into her favourite frozen princess and this little world from Playmobil Magic lets her let her imagination run. Catching her in these little moments as she plays remind me that soon she will outgrow these toys, but for now we will cherish and nourish her immagination.

If I was lucky enough to win this, I would gift it to my kids. They love Playmobil and this set is just gorgeous! My younger daughter still loves Frozen and would really enjoy this set. My oldest loves imaginative play and playmobil is so good for that. Even my little guy would enjoy this as he loves playing with his sisters.

Living in a northern community, I would love to see more playmobile toys featuring snow, winte, and a northern lifestyle. A playmobile snowmobile would be a hot item in our school, and these toys facilitate both language development and STEAM small-world play.
