Toronto Catering Company and High Tea Hosts—Rumi’s Catering

Toronto Catering Company—Rumi's Catering
Whatever your next occasion may be why not leave the food and drinks in the capable hands of Toronto catering company, Rumi’s Catering?

Almost ten years ago I met Lida, who is the owner of Rumi’s Catering, through my husband. She is passionate, funny and a great chef. She is an omni-potentialite that excels at a lot of different things but I think she really hits it out of the ballpark with her cooking.

Visits with Lida revolve around her dining room table, talking and eating. I always feel like I eat with my eyes, with my nose, and with my taste buds when I indulge in a feast she made. She manages to fuse simple local ingredients into intricate delicacies that delight my taste buds, bite after bite.

And then she let me know that she opened up Rumi’s Catering and I want to spread the word. Toronto you have a new catering company, plus she hosts a fancy High Tea event.

Toronto Catering Company—Rumi’s Catering

Inspired by the 13th-century poet Rumi whose influence transcended borders and ethnic divisions, Lida transforms farm and local fresh ingredients into one-of-a-kind experiences. Working with each client to provide customized menus, you can always expect professionalism and satisfaction.

Menus differ depending on service and price point but Rumi’s offers breakfast, cocktail and High Tea menus. To see the full menu selection head on over to Rumi’s website. Rumi’s also offers a full-service tea ceremony where a tea master will be present at your event to perform a cultural tea ceremony and tea tasting of the most unique teas from around the world.

High Tea Event

On Sunday, March 18, 2018, the travelling tea party is teaming up with Rumi’s Catering and a Tac Tea Certified Sommelier to host a high tea event, Celebrating Mother Earth Awakening And The Spring To Come. This will be a great networking opportunity for everyone in the community so bring your business cards with you!

There will be two seatings: 11:30 am to 2:00 pm as well as 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. The cost will be $50 per person. The event will include tea tasting, food, and music.

I love teas and host them often either at a Fairmont or privately in my home; this company looks fabulous. Unfortunately, I am in Calgary.
