The Shows At Canada’s Wonderland

The Shows At Canada’s Wonderland

The shows at Canada’s Wonderland are magnificent! I have been going to Wonderland for almost 3 decades and I have admittedly never taken the time to watch any but this week we checked out Snoopy’s Dog Days of Summer, Tundra: A Cirque Experience, and Ultimate Thrills Circus.

The Shows At Canada’s Wonderland

Before we headed to the park I did some quick research on Canada’s Wonderland website about the shows that were available. I could quickly get an idea of where I needed to be and at what time to see all the shows we were interested in. Thankfully each show has a few different times it plays so you should be able to fit them in during your fun at Wonderland. Plus the price of entrance to Canada’s Wonderland covers all the shows so try and catch at least one while there.

Tundra: A Cirque Experience

Tundra had us laughing from the start as it followed two brothers as they ventured to the Tundra in Canada to discover a new business venture. Antics ensued and the men were joined by an amazing cast that did aerial artistry, bicycles, scooters, contortion skills and vertical acrobatics. My family and I sat there with our jaws on the floor while we spent 30 minutes being taken on an adventure. I highly recommend this show for everyone and it’s so nice to get away from the heat as the Canterbury Theatre is an indoor, air-conditioned space with wheelchair seating available at the front, middle, and rear of the house. Find more info here.

Ultimate Thrills Circus

In true circus style, this was over-the-top fun that had us on the edge of our seats for the 30 minutes. When we walked up to our seats I could see three motorcycles going round in the Globe of Death metal cage. As the show continued they not only added a person into the middle of the cage but also added a fourth motorcycle into the cage. I wanted to turn away but I couldn’t as it was so entertaining.

The unicycling Bertini Family had my kids claiming they “wanted to do that”. Fun and acrobatics atop a unicycle had us clapping along and I was so amazed at the agility this family had on only one wheel.

Side-by-side the Surnina Sisters wowed us with their strength, balance, and flexibility as they used each other to climb on top of and pose. These women were so in sync with their movements and each time they went into a new show-stopping move I held my breath a little bit.

Just because we were in Wonderland doesn’t mean that there was no finale. As the landing mat got blown up in front of the stage we got to witness a human cannonball as he exploded from the cannon and landed – safely – just in front of our seats. Great show!

Snoopy’s Dog Days of Summer

Located in the Playhouse Theatre in the children’s section, Snoopy’s Dog Days of Summer takes you and your LO’s to the beach with Charlie Brown, Linus, Lucy, and Snoopy. After the show is done you can even get photos done with the cast so I suggest you stick around for that.

Canada’s Wonderland Location

Canada’s Wonderland is just north of Toronto and located at 1 Canada’s Wonderland Drive, Vaughan, ON L6A 1S6, Canada.

I grew up in Ontario and started going to Canada’s Wonderland as a toddler up until I moved to BC at 16. My cousin was a professional dancer and performed at Canada’s Wonderland.

I’ve only been to Wonderland once with the youngest 3 of my kids, we didn’t see any shows but the kids had a marvellous time on all the different rides.
