Cloud b to the Nighttime Rescue: a Must-Have

People are creatures of habit. My youngest little guy is my heart. He sleeps on top of me most nights. He wakes in the middle of the night wanting to be comforted and fed and I always oblige him by heading downstairs and getting him a bottle. ALWAYS. EVERY NIGHT. FOR 19 MONTHS NOW. I am tired.

There is nothing and I mean nothing I would not do in order to get a few more minutes of sleep which is why I always give him his bottle. He is way past the time he should be getting a bottle and I give zero % about that. I do care about sleeping more so we keep on keeping on.

But we have recently received some new friends that are not only making him settle in for the night but fall back asleep once he is sleeping.

Cloud b to the Sleep Rescue

My youngest loves lights. His first word (after mom and dad) was light although he pronounces it “lah-yt”. If you want to grab his attention you can turn on a light anywhere and he will point and stare. It’s kind of magical and I can’t wait to show him our Christmas tree when it is up this year. He was really excited when a box arrived for him and even more excited with the contents.

First up was the small and cuddly Dream Buddies Sheep. When turned on the lights project a star constellation on the ceiling with changing colours. Our little guy likes to walk around and see where he can make them appear. If the sheep is not your thing you can choose the lab or bunny.

His other surprise was Charley the Chameleon which is larger, blue and has these big eyes that draw you in every time. “Eyes” is another word that our youngest knows and he associates them with bed because I repeat “close your eyes” ten million times each night to put four kids to bed. He knows ‘eyes’ yet fails to close them when I ask him to. Charley’s paws when pressed, take him through him glowing and rainforest, tropical or no sounds at all. You can also control the volume with the other paw which I really appreciate.

So for the past week when our little guy is getting ready to fall asleep we bring his new buddies with him to bed. When he wakes up in the middle of the night I turn on one of these little guys and Cyrus snuggles right up and falls asleep again. I have been sleeping well my friends and that is all that matters right now.

I love Cloud B! My oldest daughter has the Cloud B bunny and she loves it. It helps to put her to bed calmly with the stars on the ceiling and changing different colors. I love the variety they have
