Rocky Mountain Soap Company: Spoil Yourself

Skincare is so important to me especially now that I am getting older. I no shame do a face mask a day to try to pull out the blackheads, slough off the dead skin and then put back the moisture.

It’s a process that I have actually started to love now that I am seeing such positive results and so when Rocky Mountain Soap Company asked if I wanted to try out some of their goodies I jumped at the chance.

Rocky Mountain Soap Company Skin Care

I got sucked in HARD on the RMSC website. I literally had a half dozen tabs open showing my kids how cool these slabs of soap were but my kids actually pointed out the best part of all—the products found on the site are all-natural and free of sulfates, parabens and phthalates. I can totally get behind a product and brand like that.

Three products have made me jump board: benefits of the oil cleansing routine, benefits of the oil cleansing routine, and the benefits of the oil cleansing routine. I have never used cleansing oil to clean my skin but I have read about the benefits of the oil cleansing routine. I never dove in because it literally went against everything else I have ever heard i.e. it blocks your pores causing breakouts but now I know that it is the perfect way to cleanse your skin, especially in the cold and dry winter.

I alternate days between using the cleansing oil alone and using it with the face polish the next day. I have severely dry and flaky skin; to the point where my foundation looks like its sitting on scales if I don’t have a good exfoliation and moisturizing regime in place. The oil alone has a subtle scent and glides on effortlessly with a cotton pad. I am always slightly amazed at what gets pulled out and love that it gently removes mascara as well. When paired with the face polish though my skin is in heaven. You can feel the tiny granules in the polish slough away the dead skin but it does it in the most gentle way. There is no large amount of pressure or work needed to get these results and the aloe seems to soothe my red undertones.

I am quite particular with my face creams because of my dry skin. It needs to absorb into the skin but it also needs to continue to work and leave supple results well into the day. I don’t need dewy skin for an hour it needs to stay supple all day long and the pomegranate day cream does not disappoint at all.

An added bonus was this Vanilla and Coconut Hand & Body Wash that I promptly put into our own bathroom because sometimes it’s okay to save the best stuff for yourself. It smells so good and even as a body wash it provides the right level of luxury.

Canadian-made is always a huge plus for me. I also love that their products are all-natural and free of sulfates, parabens and phthalates.

It sounds like this company has really great products so I’ll have to check them out because I’m always trying to find the perfect products for my skin.

I have never heard of this company but am open to trying it, based on your positive experience. I keep changing products for my skin because I can’t seem to find something I love.

I use many products from Rocky Mountain Soap Company; I recently bought the shampoo bar (sounds weird that a shampoo can be in a bar) It’s for dry itchy scalp (which I have….due to psoriasis) this bar soap has really helped the itch (I still get flakes that fall from my scalp, but nothing I’ve tried has worked even tar shampoos which smell awful!) I love the deodorant, great smell & no chemicals; the soaps are great, I’ve tried many different ones and Rocky Mountain often donates to worthy causes when certain soaps are purchased; I’ve used the lip balm, no thick gloppy stuff & it has a nice light pink tint to it (you can get different shades); there are so many more products I could go on forever, whether for skin care, feet care etc; I think if you tried any of their products you will find something you love

I have heard about Rocky Mountain Soap Company but have never tried their products. I think that needs to change soon!
