Dinos are all the rage in our home and Playmobil has really checked off all the necessities with two of their Dinos sets: Enemy Airboat with Raptors and Hidden Temple with T-Rex. If you are big on imaginative play and giving your little ones the tools to really let their imaginations run, these two sets are perfect additions to your toy collection.

I actually stayed up late one night to put them together while my kids slept and when my kids woke up in the morning they played quietly for a couple of hours while I slept in.

We went to a holiday event earlier this year and while all the kids were rushing from station to station mine quietly settled into the Playmobil station and played. I sat down with a drink and watched them getting along (finally) while they took turns being a t-rex and being protectors of the Hidden Temple. This set comes with so many moving parts, little accessories and details to really bring it to life that you will be tempted to jump in with your kids.

Details like the ruin’s crystal eyes, jungle plant and test tubes glow in the dark when they are illuminated with the included UV flashlight. A pivotable laser gun with LED light accompanies a pivotable freight pulley that lets us bring equipment up and down the temple.

My boy loves moving the portcullis up and down and mostly I think he just likes watching it drop on the t-rex. Every playtime ends with him crushing the dino with the door and I personally approve of that ending very much.

Continue the adventure with the Enemy Airboat set. The particular set can actually be taken into the bath where the boat floats. My child has killed many toys by bringing them into the bath with him and we’re both pretty stoked that we’ve got one now.

This set comes with many movable parts and you can even take the cage completely off of the boat and play with it by itself. Containing the 2 raptors that come with this set can really take a lot of accessories so its awesome that the boat offers lots of storage as well as a drive on a ramp that is foldable.

You can also purchase the 7350 Underwater Motor to propel the floating boat through water and combine this set with Vehicle With Stegosaurus and Enemy Quad with Triceratops
