How the Program Works

Before you can get started with the Enbridge Gas Home Winterproofing Program, you’ll need to check if your home qualifies. You can easily do this by applying online or by phone at 1-844-770-3148. After submitting your application, one of Enbridge’s authorized delivery agents will get in touch with you to ask a few follow-up questions and confirm your eligibility.

Provide Proof of Income

To ensure that the program is helping those who need it the most, the delivery agents will ask for proof of income during the follow-up call. This can include a benefit statement or other supporting documents related to your last tax assessment. Don’t worry, all information provided will be kept confidential.

Schedule a Quick Home Visit

If your home qualifies, an authorized delivery agent will schedule a home energy assessment. During this visit, the agent will check if your home is properly insulated and identify any areas where air might be escaping through windows and doors. The assessment typically takes about two hours.

Enjoy Free, Professional Installation

If your home is eligible for free upgrades, our qualified contractors will install them at your convenience. The installation process is quick and clean, and there’s no cost to you. You’ll be able to enjoy a more comfortable and energy-efficient home in no time!

Get Follow-Up Support

After the upgrades have been installed, the same delivery agent will visit your home again to make sure everything is working properly and to answer any follow-up questions you might have.
