Nighttime Wetting Tips & Tricks from GoodNites

Nighttime bedwetting is a straight-up nuisance. I speak from experience because I was one of those kids who just could not control my itty-bitty bladder–actually I still can’t but this is not about me, mmmkay.

Going back-to-school and all the excitement and stresses that it entails can do a mighty number on a kid (and their bladder). With the impending new grade, new school or sadness over summer vacation ending the stressors mount up and accidents may happen.

Whenever we have accidents, no matter how far between they are I always make sure my kids know that that is all they were, accidents. With our kids getting older and wanting to sleep on their own I need to make sure that where they sleep is protected in case we have a mishap. Although we have all of our big beds (we bed share) protected with a mattress protector the single beds are left without protection.

I was really happy to have the chance to checkout the GoodNites Bed Mats because our nighttime wetting does not happen all the time. I can easily take the easy-to-remove peel strips off and place them on the mattress, essentially forgetting about them until we do have an ‘oopsie’.

Not only do they provide the same protection as the GoodNites Underwear they also lock in odor thanks to the “Micro-Pocket Technology”. My favourite is that they are not the plastic tarp-like covers that make so much noise that it’s impossible to sleep through the night.

If your child has nighttime wetting issues more often then our family a good option for you may be one of the other products from GoodNites. A disposable option would be the GoodNites Disposable Bedtime Pants. Coming in both boy and girl designs and offering five-layer protection for the ultimate protection. If you are looking for a reusable option then GoodNites TRU-FIT Underwear would be for you. The underwear are washable and require disposable inserts that can be changed as needed.
