Kellogg’s Rice Krispies Treats For Toys

Kellogg’s Rice Krispies Treats For Toys

It’s time to celebrate the fifth annual Kellogg’s Rice Krispies Treats For Toys program and not only have I got the kids on board with some fun treat making we’re also giving back by sharing our creations online.

We have had years where our holiday budget was close to none but we always managed to pull something together and I understand the importance of giving back when we can. The Treats For Toys program is such a simple way to teach your children about the power of giving all while spending some quality time together.

Kellogg’s Rice Krispies #TreatsForToys

Partnering with The Salvation Army once again, the Kellogg’s Rice Krispies #TreatsForToys program is once again making sure that no child goes without the magic of the holidays.

Canadian families are encouraged to create a toy shaped Rice Krispies treat and submit a photo on TreatsforToys.ca or share it in social media using the hashtag #TreatsforToys. For each picture uploaded or shared on social , Kellogg’s Rice Krispies will donate $20 to The Salvation Army so that a real toy can be purchased for a Canadian child in need.

Make. Share. Give

The steps for the Treats for Toys program are simple but they will help create lasting memories for kids all over our nation.

Make. Share. Give.

As an added challenge this year, Kellogg’s is asking for some creativity from participants–incorporate a moving part into your toy-shaped treat (only if you can handle it of course).

I do believe that I’m best off sticking to what’s perhaps possible for me, so I think it’s very likely to either be a snowman or one big mess, sigh 🙂
