5 Reasons Why We Love Meal Kits

5 Reasons Why We Love Meal Kits

I’ve been responsible for the meals of my family for many years now so I want to share 5 reasons why we love meal kits.

5 Reasons Why We Love Meal Kits

New Family Faves – After being solely responsible for coming up with family meals for the past 14 years I needed some help to come up with new family faves. After a few weeks of trying out different Toronto meal kit delivery, I was able to pull the meals that were crowd-pleasers and add them to our family recipe collection. Since each meal kit provides us with a recipe card this was so easy to do and now we introduce meal kits a few times a year to get a good rotation of meals happening.

Convenient – Listen, life happens and sometimes healthy meals are the things that don’t happen because we are so busy. If we know that we are going to be having some hectic days in the future we plan ahead and get meal kits delivered to ensure we have healthy meals without having to shop and prep ourselves. There are many options that are ready faster than it takes to wait for a pizza and they are nutritious and delicious.

So Many Options – Not only are there so many different meal kits available like Hello Fresh, GoodFood and Chefs Plate to name a few, but they all have a ton of different meal options even catering to specific diets. Whether you are looking for meals for 1 person, a family, picky eaters, vegetarian, or calorie conscious most of these companies will meet your needs.

Cost-Efficient – Uses the coupons, get the deals, share the codes with your friends and family so you can get some $$$ when they use your code. There is a lot of ways for you to get really discounted meal kits delivered to your door. Even if you don’t go that route let me ask you how much your time is worth? If you saved an hour prepping dinner would you think that spending $30 on a meal for 4 was worth it? For us it is and many times we’ve been introduced to delicious food that we wouldn’t have even known existed that costs very little to replicate in later meals.

Easy Date Night Idea – We went out earlier this week and dropped $250 at a restaurant for date night. Looking back I could have had the same kind of experience at home with hubby with a well-placed meal kit and quality time in the kitchen, just the two of us. Some meal kits let you add dessert to the package and you can pick up some beers or wine to compliment your meal and it’s an easier, less expensive date night. I also recommend adding a Melt: Massage for Couples class after dinner. Find out how you can enter to win 3 months free here.

I’ve never tried a meal kit. I’ve heard great things about them though, and always fresh, quality food.

I’ve tried one but I’m not sure I’d like it enough to justify the price in the future

Meal kits would be nice to try but we live in a rural area so probably not an option.
