Kid’s New Year’s Eve Countdown on Netflix

Kid’s New Year’s Eve Countdown on Netflix

My kids and I have been practicing our New Year’s celebrations all week trying to make sure our countdown is up to par with all of the best countdowns. Netflix makes is super easy for parents to get their kids involved without having them stay up till midnight.

Starting the New Year Right AKA Same Ole Bedtimes

We usually try to mix things up for New Years by heading out to a hotel up north to make it special. As much as I would love to let my kids stay up until midnight the road to hell is paved in good intentions and I know that a late bedtime is not good for anyone.

Thankfully my kids are in the magic ages where they either A. know what is happening but are happy to party early and get some rest or B. have no idea what is going on but enjoy the ‘feeling’ of excitement from others. They just fall asleep wherever they lay their sweet heads. I want to start 2018 with well rested children so the same ole bedtime is key!

New Year’s Eve Countdown on Netflix

When you log into Netflix you can easily see the New Year’s countdowns on the main screen. You can easily search search “Countdown” or “New Year’s Eve Countdown” and you’ll find a special 2018 icon added to the Netflix.com/Kids homepage with direct access to all nine videos.

Old faves like TrollhuntersAll Hail King JulienSkylanders AcademyPuffin RockWord Party and Beat Bugs, are once again making an appearance but we’are pretty stoked for new appearances from PororoLarva, and True and the Rainbow Kingdom.

So whether you’re only going to let them watch one episode or going to let them watch all 9, head on over to Netflix and start the New Year right, with well rested kids.

We were an average gathering for New Year’s Eve, 5 adults and 2 kids so there was enough entertainment to keep everyone occupied. I didn’t even make it to midnight I must admit, LOL.
