I am going to preface this review by saying I am a huge Jennifer Lawrence fan and she can do absolutely nothing wrong so this is biased as hell. Even with all that I think you’ll end up having a girl crush on my gal Jenn by the end of this No Hard Feelings review.

In picturesque Montauk, New York, Maddie, a 32-year-old Uber driver and bartender, is in a jam. Thanks to an invasion of wealthy summer vacationers, she risks losing her mother’s charming home due to rising property taxes. And if that’s not enough, her ex-boyfriend Gary makes a surprise appearance, repossessing her car with a court order and leaving her income-less. Talk about a double whammy! In her quest to turn things around, Maddie does what any desperate soul does – she turns to Craigslist.

The ultimate ad is found: helicopter parents who are willing to pay for Maddie to date their son before he heads off to Princeton in the Fall. The only caveat, he’s totally clueless and a huge nerd. Can she get him to let loose and live a little?

This is a comedy through and through and every scene had me laughing out loud. If you’re looking to see a true comedy and really see Oscar winner Jennifer shine, check out No Hard Feelings available now on DVD and BluRay.
