Blue Monday: Tips and Tricks to Help Fight the Depression

There is a direct correlation between me taking a step back from the blog in January and the fact that January seems to be the most depressing month of the year. Although I am doing really well with self-care this year I can’t help but see a lot of stress and anxiety surrounding day-to-day tasks. My house is messier than normal, my kids have been staying up longer than usual, and maybe, just maybe, I have given into the urge of doing a lot of nothing because I just don’t have it in me to do something. I am not alone in this battle thankfully and I have some tips to help fight Blue Monday and the ensuing sad January.

Have you heard of Blue Monday? It’s the third Monday in January and the day that we feel most miserable after the holidays – likely because the holiday cheer has long faded, we’ve possibly already broken our New Year’s Resolution and it’s just oh so cold outside!     I am always like this in January , can’t seem to get outta my on way , great tips and thanks for sharing i will def be trying some of these 🙂

    I’ve never heard of this day but for me January to May is depressing because it’s cold and we’re all locked in our houses with short day light.
