Tis’ the season for ‘merry everything’.
YTV must have read my mind when they came up with their holiday programming this year. Their ‘Merry Everything’ tagline goes well my intentions of 24/7 holiday everything.
YTV Merry Everything Holiday Programming
When it comes to quality programming I know I can 100% trust YTV to provide it. I spent my childhood watching The Zone and I love that even though it evolved with the times, it’s still safe. Unlike adult networks and even YouTube Kids, YTV keeps it safe for your kids, so you can focus on the important things like making memories.
Your family can enjoy the whole holiday lineup without questionable commercials or content. During December, YTV is our Ho Ho Holiday Station and you should make it your go-to as well. Its got a steady stream of Christmas specials, movies and marathons, classic and new.
The YTV Holiday Line-Up
Whether you are into the classics, new specials or quirky faves YTV has you covered. Earlier this month we got our fix of Elf, Happy Feet and Home Alone in.
FYI, Home Alone had us watching our backs for days, as our kids were trying to make traps for potential robbers. As if that wasn’t enough they begged us to forget them at home when we went on vacation (I wish). I’m still trying to figure out how a family that big can afford the huge house and family vacation.
When it comes to getting into the holiday spirit we choose to cuddle on the couches and watch a good show. We vote to see what show we will be watching, majority rules. This year, we printed out the Merry Everything holiday programming calendar and let each child pick one show to watch. No more fighting and it gives the kids something to look forward to. The kicker though is that they watch a show every day but get a sense of accomplishment when their show comes on.
Get in The Zone + Print Your Own Merry Everything Holiday Programming Calendar
You can get your family in the holiday spirit by printing out the calendar too. I’m excited about Christmas Eve and to watch Jim Carrey’s How the Grinch Stole Christmas.
The kids are pretty excited about the Beauty and the Beast: Enchanted Christmas, A Muppet Christmas: Letters to Santa and the Ice Age Marathon, in that order. As if that wasn’t amazing enough, on Christmas Day YTV’s Merry Everything programming is commercial free.
Thanks for the gift YTV.
Ohhh I can’t wait to share some of these with my son!
Oh I just love this time of year!! I forgot about some of these thank you!!
we love most of those christmas movies <3 what a great line up. seriously we are watching christmas non stop over here
A lot of family favorites on that list! Haven’t seen Beauty & The Beast Enchanted Christmas for many years so we will have to watch that one!
Lots of great shows and I have been enjoying watching with my granddaughter, great schedule to download!
We love YTV! My boys watch it all the time. They love Spongebob Squarepants! I love their Christmas lineup.
I’ve never watched YTV, probably because my kids are all adults. 🙂
I’ll have to see if my grandkids watch YTV but I think they watch mainly on Netflix and I have no idea if you can watch YTV on that.
It’s hard to believe that there’s so many Christmas cartoons but as I looked at the list I realized that there’s even more that aren’t on the schedule.
I like this idea
