Cold and flu season is here, have you been hit yet?

    My one tip is to make sure to get a flu shot as well, you may get the odd sniffle here and there but you will not get the flu!

    Use Listerine daily. It kills germs in the mouth. I haven’t had a cold in a few years since I started doing this.

    My best tips are to wash your hands a lot, and not share food/drinks so as to limit your exposure to germs. I also try to touch as little as possible when out e.g. when I use stairs or an escalator I try not to touch the handles. Also, I always stock up our supplies as soon as school starts – it is much easier to deal with sickness when you have supplies at home, rather than having to run out to the store when sick. Lozenges, tissues, fever reducers etc. are all great to have on hand. And finally get lots of rest, eat healthy and take a multi-vitamin to stay as healthy as possible.

    I keep well hydrated. I make bone broth weekly and wash hands always. I try not to stay indoors where all the germs are in an apartment. I am huge on vitamins daily to keep my Immune strong.

    Buy a humidifier if you don’t have one, wash your hands every time you come into your home, touch touch your face or rub your eyes when you’re out in public, use baby wipes or wet wipes to wash off the super-germy surfaces of things such as the handles of shopping carts, and keep your immune system in good shape by not eating tons of sugar (which wrecks your immune system).
