Strauss Water Bar: Are You Drinking Enough Water

Cup Of Water

I am so excited to share more about the Strauss Water Bar. It has been an integral part of our lives.

I vividly remember being a child and drinking copious amounts of water. Cups and cups at a time. Thankfully my parents installed a water filtration system so that I could be drinking water that was not contaminated by the pipes and chemicals.

That was 20 years ago and now I have a family of my own. With all of the sugary drinks out there I find it a real struggle to make sure some of my kids get the daily recommended amount of H2O in them. While my oldest reminds me of me in his consumption and I find myself annoyed at all the empty cups on my counters my daughter Emma would much prefer to drink milk all day. We have a refrigerator water filtration system that I thought was doing a great job until I was recently introduced to the Strauss WaterBar at an event.

The Strauss WaterBar is a counter top filtration and purification unit that is actually hooked up to your main water supply. It is installed in when you get the unit so you don’t have to worry about any of the technical stuff yourself. You choose the temperature you prefer and program the cup size you need. You can program to put the machine to sleep when you do and if you have the little ones at home like me there is a great child safety feature so there is no unnecessary burns.

When I was doing my preliminary research on the WaterBar I will admit I was a bit worried about the fact that it was a unit that would be placed ON my counter and I am someone who loves to have de-cluttered counters. I also already have appliances on my counter such as my coffee maker, kettle and toaster and didn’t want to take up any more space. Then I got to see the WaterBar in action and realized a lot of things.

The 2 different models (T6 &T7)are compact and just a couple of inches wider then the kettle which will no longer be needed in your home because the WaterBar provides an unlimited supply of purified boiling, cold and room temperature water. I of course was curious as to how the purification actually happened as you cant boast about triple filtration and UV purification that kills 99% of bacteria with out showing me the magic, and they did not disappoint. The filter and UV light are easily accessible from the top of the machine (and quite impressive too)

So with these beautiful machines you can safely give your children and yourself a glass of water that you know is pure but still retains all of the minerals that are so important. How great would it be to have water for your child’s formula that doesnt have to be preboiled? And how much better would even that be at 3 in the morning when you just want to crawl back into bed? For me the machine would probably take a lot of the fighting out of my marriage as my husbands tea addiction is out of control and I am the one who is constantly being asked to “put on the kettle.”

As a mom to 4 kids, I love the fact that it costs about $1 a day and there is no upkeep. When you purchase the unit you also get the peace of mind that Strauss will deliver, install, and deliver you the filters and UV lamps before you even know you need them. Easy Peasy!

I would love to use that. I tend to drink lots of tea as my way of drinking enough water everyday.

This sounds like a great gadget but this past year we switched to a water cooler so we wouldn’t have to worry about our water anymore.
