For someone like me who drinks copious amounts of coffee the one use K-Cups could be a financial burden. Having to buy K-Cups in bulk meant that I was usually stuck on one kind for 100 brews and that isn’t always what I want. I prefer to have a few different kinds of beans laying around so that I could grind and brew as I please and I know I am not alone. Keurig has been listening to it’s customers and had developed the My K-Cup reusable coffee filter.
For those of you on the fence about buying a Keurig 2.0. brewing system because of all the eco problems with K-Cups you can rejoice in the fact that you will not be putting K-Cups in the landfill. I know (so does Keurig) there has been a lot of talk and this was a reason many have been put off, so get in the car and get shopping. Lots of great deals right now in time for the holiday shopping season.
This small package houses big things. The My K-Cup allows you to put up to 2 tablespoons of coffee grounds into the reusable filter to be used in the Keurig 2.0. brewers. I fill mine to the green max and do 2 brews with the same pod to get 14 oz. (10 & 4 oz brews at strong). Not the preferred method probably but it makes a perfectly brewed monster cup of “joe” every time. For when I do have to make multiple cups the My K-Cup comes with a great handle so you don’t get burned.

What kind of coffee would you put in the new My K-Cup?
