New supplies, bags, lunch containers, shoes, clothes and if your kids have uniforms you will for sure be left looking at a depleted bank account wondering how it happened. I personally like to space out back to school shopping and by buying when on sale I save some money.
But then October comes around and the unthinkable happens. My kids have lost their shoes, uniforms and worst of all have come home with the wrong “Frozen” backpack one to many times (there is 14 of the same backpack in the class *sigh*).
Last year my son had his Batman Chuck Norris sneakers stolen right from the school hallway. I wish I could put GPS tracking on their stuff but I don’t have the resources so I do the next best thing, I label.
And I will label anything and everything that they take to school because 300 kids who all wear the same navy pants, golf shirt and navy sweater are bound to get mixed up. Because my kids would lose their heads if they were not attached to their bodies, because if I am spending $200 on a pair of Jordan’s for my son I sure as hell want them to come home with him.
Luckily Mabel’s Labels has got you covered for all of your Back to School labeling needs. Whether this is the first time at the rodeo or you are a seasoned vet, there is a package for you. All of the following packages are $42 for 108 labels. They come with 40 Custom Name Stickers, 50 Tag Mates Stick On Clothing Labels, 2 Personalized Mini Tags and 12 labels that differ by package.
Are your kids just starting out? Still having issues deciphering their left and right foot? Than the Little Kid School Combo is for you. These come with the above and 12 Preschool Shoe Labels that when put together make it easier for your little ones to come home wearing their shoes properly *fingers crossed*.
Maybe you have little ones like mine who are masters of primary school. Going into grade 1 and 2 this year they are “in the know” and don’t miss any opportunity to let me know that they know EVERYTHING (including what foot their shoes go on). In the Ultimate Back-to-School Combo they get 16 custom shoe stickers with their bundle, more than enough to do both of their shoes and boots for the year.
You think older kids don’t need labels? I bed to differ as they are more than likely bringing electronics and items of more value out with them. The Stylish Scholars Combo combines style and sophistication with quality. Included in this bundle is 16 round labels.
You most likely have questions and I got some answers. The Mini Custom Name Stickers are dishwasher and microwave safe. You don’t need to worry about labels peeling off in the middle of the school year because they won’t, trust me. The Tag Mates will survive your washer and dryer cycle long after your kids make holes in the knees of all their pants and the sweaters get a mysterious “stain” on them. The Shoe Labels and Round Labels are UV resistant and most importantly waterproof because if your children are anything like mine they will jump in every puddle possible. And not that you need it but there is a satisfaction guarantee so you know you will be happy.
Since the packages are fairly large and there is lots of designs to choose from I always try to choose a gender neutral one for the whole family. This year we have chosen “Monkey” which is appropriate for my little brood. Instead of putting the kids names I put “Alaei Kids” because hand-me-downs are a lifesaver around here and I also added my phone number not only to get our stuff back but also as a safety precaution for my kids in case they get lost or hurt and I need to be contacted.
