Backyard Fun + #CTWOWGuide Twitter Party June 22 @ 8 PM

Come the warm Summer months I am a stickler for the outdoors. Living in Toronto it is difficult to find a house that has a good outdoor space. When we found ours we decided to buy a fixer-upper in exchange for a  large yard I could see the kids play in from the kitchen. It was the best investment we made.

This year we are taking up a big undertaking by moving our shed to the corner of the yard and finally getting our garden working for us. I’m also looking for the perfect patio set for our set-up. Once everything is all moved around and set up our kids and us will have a large outdoor living and (playing space).

I no longer want to put my stove on and rely heavily on my hubbies grilling skills to feed us. My tasks have changed drastically from making meals to marinating something that we could throw on the grill while we were out back.

Water Fun from the WOW Guide

Look through my Instagram and you will see my kids covered in mud, running through the sprinklers, having water balloon fights, and as a family–water gun fights. Want a great workout? Buy a bunch of water guns and let loose as a family. The laughter and giggles exploding from everyone involved is totally worth the muddy footprints throughout  the house.

Letting the kids go through the WOW Guide from Canadian Tire and check out all of their fantastic water fun goodies (pg 99-104) is almost the same as how they felt trying to pick toys for their Santa letter. The excitement was vibrating through the house and I couldn’t wait until we get everything set up.

We ended up with a whole slew of goodies like the Mario Cart Double Slide,  300 Zuru Bunch O’Balloons,  and a bunch of Nerf water guns including the Super Soaker Scatter Water Blaster as it had 5 nozzles to spray from and I may be able to get my whole brood in one shot. Bonus is that it came with two guns in a package and on SALE.

For the first time in 10 years Canadian Tire has put out a 200 page catalogue that, in keeping with the times, is available in both a paper and digital copy. The paper version is nice when we are all scrambeling to make a shopping list or relaxing over a glass of wine, it is the digital copy that is AH-mazing.

Here is what will WOW you:

• You will find even more products, Yes there are 1200 in the catalogue, but there are even more online. Make sure you check them all out!
